How your privacy works. Your offer is stored against a one-way code derived from your email (an HMAC),not your email address or name. The organiser cannot casually or accidentally see who made which offer while browsing the data. This is quasi-anonymous: the organiser holds the secret key and the list of members, so deliberate de-anonymisation remains possible.
